Our Sangu Earrings are expertly crafted in Turkey using a 14K gold vermeil chain and Swarovski crystals with the wrap around chain that goes behind the ear. Sangu refers to a traditional Maldivian shell used to call people to prayer and ceremonies & we loved the way it sounded in our ears when we heard it being played.
Inspired by the luminous balance between land and water in the Maldives, each piece captures the harmony of earth and ocean — with warm gold tones reflecting sunlit sands and shimmering crystals evoking the tide’s gentle sparkle.
